Searched number & came to this site only to read that everyone has had the same calls regarding computer virus, I said I don't have a computer & thay hung up! Total scam! I would like to no how thay got my number though as only just changed my number! A few days ago & it's x directory!? Hmm
Never believe scam calls like this one. They come from all kinds of exchanges. Their pitch is that your PC has a terrible virus and you need to pay them to go into your computer over the internet to remove it. They will toast your credit card number and plant malware into your PC. Avoid, and tell everyone you know.
Actually the same idiots who said they were with Windows to fix the viruses in my computer. Next time I'll tell them I'm with the FCC, have their number and location. Expect a knock on the door in 10 minutes!
wife had tons of fun messing with these idiots and pissed them off claiming our computer is old and doesnt have the widows key on the keyboard. LOL what a bunch of morons. Like windows would call someone at home because they have a virus.
Just got a call from these [***]. I let them go on with their story and when I told him I don't have a windows system he said " ok maam, wait right their and shove my XXXXX XXX into you!!!"
