Searched number & came to this site only to read that everyone has had the same calls regarding computer virus, I said I don't have a computer & thay hung up! Total scam! I would like to no how thay got my number though as only just changed my number! A few days ago & it's x directory!? Hmm
scam! Claim to be from Microsoft and say their company is DGPL technologies and say they have a website. They told me I had a virus on my computer and said they wanted to fix it and put a anti virus on my computer. They wanted to put free programs like AVG anti virus and system mechanic on my computer and said it was going to cost 300 dollars. They are a bunch of idiots both of those programs are free. They call from many different numbers and I have them all blocked.
I have yelled at these people to stop calling me and went to the police bc the calls would not stop. The police said that they couldn't help me bc they can't trace the calls. They said these people are probably some place in India and have machines and that they use and can put in any number they want.
What else I didn't like about these people were that they knew all of my information and my name and address and even got a hold of my credit card and I had to cancel my card. They are scam artist. If u don't recognize the number just ignore it and block it. I have over 80 numbers blocked bc of these people. They try to call me every day and I just don't answer the calls any more and block the numbers.
They are so annoying. They will call three times in a row sometimes and I just don't answer. They will call from 000, then a real number, and then unknown. Like I am not going to know it is the same idiot calling me. It is so annoying.
