Please continue to visit this site. There are regular posters here who have loads of information for us (sometimes they come across as a little bent-out-of-shape (I say that with affection people!) , but their hearts are in the right place). We all endeavor to thwart the lowlifes who torment our lives!
I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've received calls from "Microsoft Support/Security". I make up a new answer each time - it's become a sort of game to me. The best response I've gotten was the time I told them that I had downloaded a virus on purpose. The man on the phone couldn't believe that I would do such a thing and asked me why. I told him that I wanted to see what would happen. After a moment, he laughed and said, "That's a good one!" and hung up.
Rec'd a call from a gentleman with an Asian/Indian accent. He stated he was from the computer support department and was calling to let me know that my computer is downloading malicious software without me knowing. I then asked him "How could he possibly know that when the computer is a secure computer?" He then asked to speak with my husband Arthur. I told him he is not my husband. I work for his Law Office. He then said he will call back later and hung up rapidly.
