Just as above, pretended to be from Microsoft. When I said I use Linux so it's funny to me that Microsoft called, he said "You sound weird. You sound like a female." I said, "YOU sound weird! You sound like a scammer!" He then threatened that "we can get into your computer. Just wait and see." And hung up.
Same story..said he was from Microsoft and needed to have access to my computer and wanted info.... I ran ramped crazy screaming at him giving him no time to talk , calling him a scammer, not to call here ever again, a prankster ect.....he kept on trying to talk and I kept on yelling over him not hearing a word and finally he said,,,,mam,mam, mam, I finally said what? He then says...you have a nice day K and hung up on me......but called me 3 more times the next 2 days....I told him to stop calling here and I would hang up... Finally reported him to 2 attorney generals offices. One out of state, and the one in city! They have all this info and are onto him or them! I have that number blocked.....p.s. Was told about an app out where these prs can use any number out there and any name......also I was advised by the attorney generals office to never answer a call that is your own ...number.......if you did, don't talk, just hang up.... They can do that too!
I got the same call and I called him many yells yelling above his asking for access to my computer.... I raged yelling at him and also used some choice words name callingto him a mile a min and he finally said for me to gave a nice day and HU on me! Lol. He then calked me 3 more times in the next 2 days with me not answering , until I finally blocked that number and I also reported it to the attorney generals office! They were very aware!
Most of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan. Not much they can do about it. As for call blocking, you can get call blocking devices and phones.. they pay for themselves these day's.
