If you acknowledge their call in any manner, it just tells them they have a live phone number. They then sell your phone number to another scammer as well as continuing to call you. NEVER respond in any way to these calls, just ignore them or block them but do not respond or you will never get rid of them.
This person from 417-800-2296 calls telling me its the last chance to lower my credit card rates. They have called 3 times and when I answer to ask how to get them to stop calling - the hang up. This is harrassment
Want to get rid of them???.....pick up your trusty Yellow Page Directory, turn to Government listings and VOILA!!!! Make your choice, FBI, Homeland Security, Mental Health, the possibilities are endless.....now
when your home and able to intercept the legitimate calls, FORWARD these calls to one of these agencies imagine their shock when they hear "YOU HAVE REACHED THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION, PLEASE CHOOSE FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS".......think the'll call you back again, don't think so....I get rid of the [***] that way and laugh myself silly......remember revenge is so sweet.
