If you acknowledge their call in any manner, it just tells them they have a live phone number. They then sell your phone number to another scammer as well as continuing to call you. NEVER respond in any way to these calls, just ignore them or block them but do not respond or you will never get rid of them.
I have no credit cards! I don't need their service, nor do I want them to consume my family share cell minutes.

I wish it were that easy. Please advise on how you would initiate call forwarding on your line without picking up your phone and getting a dial tone, which in essence answers the scammers call. ?????? Call forwarding can't be started once the incoming call rings. All you're doing is letting the auto dialer hear the numbers you dial after picking up the phone.
