Caller ID said 'NOT IN USE'. I almost laughed. Someone chose that one. So, since it is not in use, I picked up, but said nothing, and was responded to in the same way. After about 20 seconds I just hung up.
Just got a call from this number...caller i.d. showed "NRG CONSRV".....Bought a digitone blocker 6 months ago....will add this number to the already 60 numbers I have blocked.
The Do Not Call is only adhered to by legitimate business , scammers don't give a damn . I've started to contact the State Attorney departments for those calls showing area code . Maybe this will help shut down these scammers .
Called the number back. Recorded message saying they are Thompson Research Group, and are "calling about a short survey. If you are interesting in taking their survey, they will give you a gift from one of their sponsors."
Gives you options to either take the survey, or to be removed from the list.
