This number called me today and scared me really badly (417)865-9506 it was some indian guy and he was speaking his language and I said excuse me and he said something about atrack and hung up I'm terrified still .
They have been calling me on and off for months, I mostly ignore the calls but every so often I pick up and it's the same story, free grant money. I nicely ask to be removed from their list and they either hang up on me or argue with me. They've called me 4 times this week, I'm adding them to my blocked caller list now, since they are clearly going to keep harassing me!!!
A foreigner Called and tried to tell me they had money for me to go back to school and when I said I wasn't interested.... He told me "You are going straight to Hell Mother F....ker" Really? I said "I better not meet you there!" Tried to report it but of course it says its not a working number.
Got a phone call this morning, asking for me by name and then asking "How are you today?" in that suspiciously I'm-your-new-best-friend way that total strangers have when they want something from you. I asked his name, and got the answer "Jim". I asked "Jim" to please not call me, I am not interested, whatever it is that he wants. I also didn't tell him how I was. And I hung up. "Jim" was so concerned about how I am doing that he called back two more times. I threatened to call the authorities if he did so again. I am waiting with bated breath by my phone (because I have absolutely nothing else to do) and if he calls again, I intend to tell him exactly how I am doing. On a recorded line, for training purposes.
