This is where politicians could maybe help by making this a federal crime if caught, which doesn't seem can happen, and making this a decent jail sentence for each call maybe a yr for each one??

Got a call from a Indian guy who asked for me by name when I asked who it was he said it doesn't matter I'm your boyfriend and I've loved you for a long long time before you married you're husband . And just kept on until I told him I'm recording this convo and he hung up
Got a call from this number stating that I had been selected to receive a government grant that did not have to be paid back. Knowing this is probably a scam, I continued to see how far they would go. They will go through a process requesting a $100 service charge that cannot come out of the grant money and need a credit/debit card. At that point when you start questioning about it they will just hang up. It's best to just avoid this if at all possible and save 15 minutes of your life.
They have been calling my office phone for weeks. But i don't see the point of getting angry. If you don't recognize the number DO NOT pick up!. There is nothing forcing people to pick up a ringing phone. If you don't want to hear it ring, turn off the ringer and put it on vibrate or let the answering machine pick up. if its important they will leave a message, if not it couldn't be that urgent! There is also no such thing as a no call lists. They tried, but when American companies outsourced their call centers that went the way of the wind. You cant sue get retribution on foreign call centers. just don't pick up.
