I have been getting calls on nearly a daily basis from this number for the past 2-3 weeks. I made the mistake of picking up once but they hung up. About three times they have left a message of some guy making a sound. I called the number back once but the phone just rang and rang.
About 2 years ago I did donate $15 to the "Sheriff's Association" and they have not stopped calling me since. (I now get calls to donate money to other seemingly NP organizations as well.) There must be a connection to this number that keeps calling me — my phone number is registered with the National Do Not Call List.

I keep getting these calls also. One day when I answered a woman asked if I was Mrs. but mispronounced my name, so I said no and she hung up. Just got another call. When I call back on the number, no one answers.
They have a packet coming in the mail to me regarding child ID cards. He asked if he could expect $15.00 by the end of the month and I said possibly, if everything is in order. Then when I looked at the number - they certainly weren't calling from Maryland.
