Are you crazy? Don't EVER EVER respond with any type of personal information to anyone who asks over the phone. Not a birthday, not an email address, NOTHING. Good grief ... then people wonder how their identities are stolen. All it takes is a few pertinent bits of information gathered here and there and, voila! You're the target chosen. Why on earth would you ever supply a random caller with any information at all? Duh ...
Called my cell phone disrupting my military duty while I was attempting to communicate with my soldiers with some bull#### about me filling out a job application which I did not fill out.
The caller said that I filled out an online survey, and they were calling to verify my information. I didn't participate in an online survey, and I had no idea what he was talking about. I asked the name of the company, and the guy said it really fast. I asked him to repeat it, and he said some initials really fast, and I couldn't understand what he said. I told him that I didn't have any idea what he was saying, and that I wasn't interested. He told me "good luck in your future endeavors."
Got a call from this number just a few seconds ago, no one on the other end of the line so I hung up and seconds later they called back wanting to verify the information they claimed I had filled out on a survey, which I did not. Were very rude.
