Usual call from Microsoft Labs telling me they had detected a problem with my computer.
Asked me if I was the Owner and I said 'NO'.
Asked if he could speak to the owner and I said 'No, he 's at work'.
Answered 'OK' and hung up!!
Guy phoned (accent) wanted computer info, so we asked him for his banking and computer info, he hung up on us...laughed so hard tears were rolling down our faces. Then Blocked him. ;)
Gotta have real acting skills to do that sh**tty job and be a criminal. Called me thru another number, which I didn't answer, and then this number shortly after. This 800notes site says both calls are about the same criminal (and so passé) scam. The acting part - they need to instil a sense of urgency in their potential scam-ee. "Your computer is sending malicious messages your computer is sending malicious messages your computer is sending malicious messages........ Must fix, must fix....
As I said it is so passé. These criminals are lacking something basic....creativity (not to mention character). Same old, same old....scam.
