Usual call from Microsoft Labs telling me they had detected a problem with my computer.
Asked me if I was the Owner and I said 'NO'.
Asked if he could speak to the owner and I said 'No, he 's at work'.
Answered 'OK' and hung up!!
Received a call from 423-231-3464 from a guy (accent). It was regarding my computer. I told him I am not a fool and let him be aware that he is a "lying thief". He cursed me with all the letters in the alphabeth. These lying deceptive thieves does not want to work.
Received 2 calls for this # today. Didn't answer the first one (afternoon), they called again around 9:30pm and I answered. Dead air. These scam callers are all the same. Wish they would stop calling. Who buys this crap anymore?
Didn't leave message, but obviously stupid thief to be calling international calls from Tennessee (Chattanooga, Johnson City, Kingsport) to Toronto, ON, Canada.
Answered this morning and got dead air and then a click. Don't answer this afternoon and they left no message. Hmmm they do keep trying, but if they don't leave a message how do I know who it is? Maybe one of my cousins are in Tennessee, maybe not.
Got a call from a fellow who sounded like he was calling from India and who offered the usual Windows technical department scam. In the past I have found that profanity puts a stop to such calls. If it works this time then his great great great grandchildren won't call.
