I received a call from them - but I didn't catch the company name. They said they got my information from a local magazine distribution company. Tole me I won a $500 shopping spree on line - They hoped I didn't mind, but needed to ask my age to get started. I told them I did mind. She said "that's too bad, she wouldn't be sending me anything" and hung up on me.
This is so a scam, people who just wants money.
This number called me saying they were a research company.They said Im on my way of winning a million dollars, It was some kind of sweepstakes or something.They even said they were gonna mail me a free gift along with some magazines,and keep talking about it, talking about the same thing over and over.
Then the guy said its over 700 magazines, so I would have to make a payment of $16.68 each month. to me I thought It was dumb. I was just not Interested, and he kept asking me to make a payment.
It was weird,I so freaked out because he already had all of my Information. Including my credit card number.when I asked him, "how did you get this" then he just said, "were just verifying your Information."
He didnt answer my question.
I even asked the guy if there were another number, and he told me no. the number hes calling me from is there customer service line. So I hung up on him, I so knew this was [***].
so I had to make changes, and got me a new bank card so that dumbass dont take money out without me knowing.
This number is so damm annoying. now it keeps calling me on weird hours, really really early in the morning or really late and leaves no messages.
