I just go the same call, i did not answer it they left a voice mail that was very hard to understand.
This is the 3rd call I have received. I asked the guy that other day for his name and number so I could call him back just in case the line got disco and he hung up on me. After he called me all kinds of bad names.
This woman called me today scared the hell out of me because I didn't understand why I didn't receive any letters from the IRS but she called me I called back and only music played such crap
I called received a call from 423-391-6805 (Bluff City TN), left me a message to call so I returned the call and the woman said she was Susan Brown from IRS and asked my name. I informed her if she was with the IRS, she would already have my name and that the IRS does NOT call anyone. She hung up on me. I received another call the following day and I called them back. The guy who answered knew I had spoke with her and he hung up. I called the number back, no answer till a voice mail came on and I left them a message that they better stop calling or I would contact the police about them harassing me. Hope no one falls for these calls, they have a strong Indian accent, IRS DOES NOT place calls, they send you letters.
They said that they were an audit company for IRS. Stated that I owed $3000 for 2011 and 2012 tax years. When I asked for his name, and address he got hostile and stated that an arrest warrant will be sent out for me and the police will explain all the details. So I asked at this point what am I suppose to do. He ended up hanging up on me.
