I called back the number and it said "thank you for calling back. If you do not wish to receive future calls from us and would like to be on our do not call list, press 1", so that's what I did.
They called today..again...They have called many times, when I try to find out who they are they hang up on me. I've called back and got a recording to press 1 to be taken off their list and have done that, but they still keep calling!!!!
I have blocked their number, but they still keep calling, including late on weeknights, as well as odd times on the weekends. I want them stopped.
Each time they called before I blocked them, I would answer and the call would instantly hang up. There was never an identifying name/number (always came through as "Withheld")
Just got a call from this one. Waiting on a call from a doctor's office, so I jumped at the chance to answer, even though I wasn't sure on the number. (I figured it could be a doctor's cell phone, etc.) They didn't say anything, even though I could hear breathing. Dialed back and received a voice recording about it being a promotion company. However, unlike the others posted here, this call may have been more productive; the recording said I could ask for my number to be removed from their calling lists. I pressed "1" to complete that action, and after a click, the call ended - they hung up.
I'll post again if they call back in the future, but so far, all is well. The funny thing is, I normally don't mind answering calls from telemarketers, as long as they are nice. For the most part, they are just doing their jobs. (I am also married to someone who works in that field so that may help my sympathy!) But just breathing on the call and then hanging up is just plain rude. I had a notion to tell the company that when I called back, but just let it go.
Received a call from this number on my cell phone asking "Can I talk to John?" John is my husband but I didn't want to engage in conversation, so I just said NO. Caller said, "Why not?" Like it's any of his business!!!! I replied "Because this isn't his phone." Caller said, "Well, you should have just said that." What???? You're the harassing telemarketer and you're going to cop me ATTITUDE?
