Well, I have found that the best answering machine money can buy is actually a fax machine! It makes the crazy people from unwanted numbers wondering if they actually got a home number or a business fax number- I always can answer any calls I want, but if I don't want to, my friendly fax machine will screach wonderful music in their ears! :)
No. Sorry Trisha. Pressing 1 does not stop the calls. It only confirms that they have a legitimate number. We get the same calls in Canada. Not even certain if blocking them works. You can only block legitimate numbers. Not answering unknown numbers seems to be the best.
