This robocaller phoned again today. True to form, the caller left no message when the call migrated to voice mail. It's the automated dialer at work, trolling from victims and their money. Never answer a call from numbers like this.
A call from this number arrived today. When the call went to voice mail, the caller left no message. This is typical of automated dialers that robocall every number, trolling for victims. When a call arrives from an unfamiliar number, DO NOT ANSWER. Let it roll to voice mail. If the call is legitimate, the caller may leave a message.

A call purporting to originate from this number was received today -- surprising since it is the first one since Sept. 10 from this particular number. As was the case previously, When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message. This behavior is characteristic of robocallers using automated dialers to contact phone numbers in numerical sequence. If a real person answers, the automated dialer transfers the call (after a few seconds delay) to a live telemarketer to start the sales or charity pitch. Both for-profit and non-profit telemarketers can be equal opportunity scammers.
These scammers love using prefixes such as 311, 411, 511, 711, 811, and 911 when sppofing phone numbers. I've received robocalls from all of them. DON'T BECOME THEIR NEXT VICTIM. DON'T ANSWER THEIR CALLS.
