I got one like this too, a few minutes ago, but I don't think his accent was Hindi. Man, I wish scammers would call me more often! That was hilarious! He didn't even get as far as telling me about the processing fee before he realized I was just stringing him along to waste his time, said "I get it now, f*** you," and hung up. Oh well.
A guy with an accent called said he was calling from the us federal government, that I can get a grant for 9000 do not have to pay it back. I just hung up.
I too received a phone call from this number from a man with a heavy accent. I finally understood that he was from the "US Grant Department". When I said "Oh cool, what kind of grant do I get?" he hung up.
I was on my cell and was not able to get the call that came from 425-206-2909. When I attempted to call back it the recording says I have reached a non working number.
i just recieved that ame call. man with heavy accent and said i was randomely slected by the gov to recieve 9k dont use for drugs and alcohol... i gave him my green dot card info and all of a sudden the phone line was diamangled or something... thank god theres a 0 balance! treid to call the number back...no response...disconnected. Wow! [***]!
