I just recieved a call from 425-291-8420. Caller ID showed RENTON, WA. Caller stated they were from Card Services and left a message in regards to lowering my credit card interest rate. Funny thing, I have no credit cards with my WORK number listed as a point of contact.
just received a call from this number (425) 291-8420 -- i've been really annoyed lately because i've been getting calls about lowering my credit rates from many different numbers. a couple days ago i got a call from 973-659-7326 telling me basically the same thing but told me to press 9 to be connected. I was connected with a man who asked if i pressed 9 to lower my credit rates. i said "i pressed 9 to talk to a human..." and he immediately hung up on me! i was definitely upset!
i seem to be getting a lot more of these calls recently.
i just got a call from this number and when i tired calling it back the number was "disconnected". This is not the first call that I have recieved like this. It is getting RIDICULOUS!!!
called me on 3/18/10 at 1:33pm EST. i didn't answer but they called my prepaid phone that has only ever called 2 other numbers and is not listed as a reference for ANYTHING.
Called our home on 3/18/2010 @ 1:28 and the caller ID came up as FLIGHT INFO. Husband picked up and when he heard the prerecording for debt assistance, he hung up. I called the number back and pressed 1 to be removed from their call list. Registered on the National Do Not Call Registry, and that seems to have done nothing as whoever is making these robo calls is ignoring it entirely. THis number originates from Washington state, as are most of the telemarketing calls I've been receiving as of late.
