What you can do is contact one of the credit reporting companies like TransUnion and ask to put a block on your SS# they will do that for 60 days and will continue till you request it off. This way if any one uses or tries to use your SS# they will notify you.
Received a beacon type tone on my phone looked and it said "Emergency Call "911", said that he was calling from an Attorney Generals office and that I had an arrest warrant out for me and if I did not call back to 425-298-9782 that he would be forced to pursue legal action towards me. I called the number back and it was the same voice on a recording. SERIOUSLY.....DO PEOPLE not get it...they need to get a job. Stop with trying to gain money by stealing and lying.
I just got the same message, I have quit answering numbers I don't know because of this. My phone had the same Emergency Call 911 on it, that's a dead giveaway that it's a scammer. I'm so sick of them!
They are saying that they are going to issue a warrant for my arrest. They did not specify my name and when I called back I did not specify my name. I got and answer machine. The name came up as Nathaniel Edwards in Kirkland, WA. They also call using 911 as well.
