What you can do is contact one of the credit reporting companies like TransUnion and ask to put a block on your SS# they will do that for 60 days and will continue till you request it off. This way if any one uses or tries to use your SS# they will notify you.
Told this [***] if he called my damn phone again I was gonna issue a warrent for HIS [***]...get the [***] outta here!!! After I said that he hung up..I tried to call back and no answer...disregard this call!!!
Received a call from supposed sam Wilson with Wa. Attorney Gen ofc. Stating an offense under my name and ss# was being filed by this evening if I didn't call them back I would he arrested by this evening. Obvious Indian accent talking tough trying to sound intimidating. I believe they are ISIS related and as such should have a drone strike called on them.
Received a call today from 911 and they started the exact same thing you all are saying. Scared the crap out of my son and I and now t that I've had time to think about it I feel so stupid for almost believing it. And I forgot these same people called me a few months ago and left the same message. I asked him what's his information and everything because I felt he was trying to scam me. He then tells me he can have an officer call me. He somehow was able to use the actual sheriff's office phone number in my town. So I talk to the "officer" and I tell him you sound just like the other guy. I feel so stupid for almost falling for this and I'm so glad my family let me know. I barely heard anything else besides h jail for six months. [***].
Caller ID came up as Emergency Call. Did not answer. Left message stating that they were with the State Police (did not say which state) and that if I did not respond to the Washington State Attorney General In 30 minutes that I would be arrested tonight.
This is not the first time I have seen this kind of scam but this is the first time the number showed 911.
Do not answer these people. If they are legit you would get something in writing before they call.
If you have any doubts, call the police or consult and attorney.
These clowns are just trying to steal your money and ID.
