Got a call from 425-321-0531saying they were from the Washington police stating that they were going to send information to my state as a warrant would be issued if I did not call an attorney call Steve Marin by 11:00 Tuesday morning to stop this warrant. I have never been to this state and this has not been the first time I have gotten this kind of call. Why can't these people be stopped. They call from one number then when you block that number they call from another. I know this is a scam because if a warrant is going to be issued in any ones name they would not call you first they would just show up at you door with the warrant. People like this need to be stopped.
I received a call from this number same as the above referenced. They called at 945pm and stated the exact same bull. I have been getting calls like this for a few years now. They seem to stop for a while but then around the same time ever year start up again. It is ridiculous, that this day in age with all the technology we have that people have to endure this. No name was asked just as soon as the Hello was said into the line they went into their speach. Sounded like a recording it was so practiced. UGH....it needs to stop for good.
My experience was just like both incidents above. But instead they called me at 10:45pm last night. They stated that my social was linked to the phone number and that there would be a warrant issued for me if I did not contact the same people as above. This is truly ridiculous. I've never been to this state. Why would someone call so late at night and leave a call back number that does not work. Scammers ate getting out of hand!!
I received same call about 10 minutes ago from Washington Department of Corrections,the women that called left a badge number along with her name .Of course they tell you they have your name and social. I also have never been in Wa .This is scary how people can do this and get away with it.
