They left a message on my machine, which got forwarded to me in an email by voice-to-text software: Voicemail from Unknown number, "The IRS and post tax lean on your name call us back for verification on IRS hotline number you may call the IRS at 425-374-1349 to discuss your IRS bill. Please have the bill and your records with you when you call your employee ID number. My batch number 94290. Goodbye. Have a nice day." They didn't say what "IRS" stands for in this case, but I suspect it's probably not "Internal Revenue Service".

Message left about IRS with batch 94290 number and call back. I wasn't going to call back. I want to "Thank those" that posted the scam info.
Ditto to all of the above. If I wasn't computer savy I might have panicked and called them back! Just think of the ones who fell for this....tell them to get a "real" job.
Voice message left same as above on 09/30/15, IRS, tax lean, call back...blah, blah, blah. I knew I didn't owe any taxes so just jumped on here to let others know, this is a scam. Call back number given is 425-374-1349.
