I got a call from this number on my cell phone. When I answered, there was a recording, something like, "We are calling about your credit card account, this is the last time we are going to call you about this before we cancel your card." It's a HOAX. Not even one single mention of a bank name! Don't fall for it; all they want to do is get your information!
I got a call from this number just now and they hung up on me. There seems to be some mix info here. The area code 425 is Washington and not e-gumball located in CA. Regardless, I am a business owner and I get several calls like this a week. Beware of hang up calls. They probe to see if a live person answers to validate your number to sell to future solicitors.
I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I have recently started a business. So, as others have posted, it could certainly be one of these many services that try to get me to pay for a Google listing or asking how I want my business to appear in the yellow pages. I get calls all the time from this sort of thing. Very annoying, and they all sound like scams. My business isn't open yet, and has only been formed via LegalZoom. So, LegalZoom I assume LegalZoom has released my phone number to these creeps. Otherwise, maybe they are getting it from the government. It makes me very cautious about ever using LegalZoom again. I asked them and they claim no affiliation. I am on the do-not-call list. I don't know how to make this stop.
