got call from 425-658-885 (another Pacific Telecom SCAM number) on 10-23-12 @ 245 PM. The auto-dialer offered a Free Home Security System - press 2 to be removed or press 1 to talk to rep. I pressed one and anolder sounding female came on the line and asked "R U interested in a Free Home Security System. I asked her "How did U get my number?" She said "Well, U pressed 1."
I responded with "But U called me". She then said I will take U off our list then - click.
Didnt even get chance to use the "SCAMMER HORN" on her !!!
I have received four calls from these jerks. The first three times I pressed 2 to be taken off their call list. Today they called back again, so I pressed 1 to talk to a rep. When I told him I was not interested in a security sysyem, I just wanted to stop the harrassing calls, he didn't even respond and hung up on me.
This Pacific Telecom operates above the weak FCC laws. They use thousands of numbers. They don't care about the do not call list or opting out of their lists. They just keep calling with new numbers. They make money just calling even if they don't scam you. stop them by complaining to your state attorney and FCC.
