Got a call about 30 minutes ago from this 425 number, which I didn't answer, of course. After googling the number, I found out that it's a home security system. If these moronic bottom feeders would/could check, they'd find out that I live in an apartment that I rent...I don't own it! Why would I want a home security system that probably covers more space than my 1~bedroom apartment has?! Dumbazzes...
I received a call this evening from 425-658-8850. I missed the phone call, but looked at Caller ID and called back thinking it was a relative with a similar number. I received a recording stating that the number was disconnected and belonged to the Pacific Telecommunications Company. I reported them to the FCC after reading all the posts on this site. I also blocked this number from calling me.
I screen my calls and do not pick up...however it is very irritating just the same. Usually receive this call at lunch time or when I'm talking to a customer...
This is a known nuisance phone number (mine was listed as coming from "solutions"). They are awful and we should have been protected from them under the "do not call" registry. I guess DNC sounds nice, but from a practical standpoint, a company that changes business names every few months can pretty much ignore the rules.
