Do you really know the amount of money that actually get to these folks! Very little to no money! Most of it goes to the person calling as a that a boy and the rest to the company collecting it. FOP for what jurisdiction? SCAM! If they really were collecting for any FOP they would at least leave a message. There are too many dumb people that hand over money to these scammers for them to stop. Sure I support our men and women in blue, I'll donate! That's exactly what they are praying on. Idiots that hand the money over like taking candy from a baby that simple! To make even more money the ones that confirm the number is live and kicking are sold off to even more scammers for yet another scam! Collecting for penguins in the Artic! Yep, there are real gullible people out there!
Fraternal Order of Police... sure! Called at 8:30 am Saturday. Told the guy off but I'm sure he is accustomed to that. How can we stop these annoyance calls.... the Do Not Call list is useless1
The Do Not Call list isn't useless but it's also not a call blocker so it can't keep scammers from calling you. Invest in an actual call blocker or at the very least don't answer calls from unknown numbers.
We are on the DO NOT CALL list but knuckle heads keep calling. NO we do not want you to access our computer. NO, we do not want to donate money to the police, NO we do not want a new alarm system. YES - we want you to STOP CALLING US!
