They don't leave a message and when I answered the phone, they hung up. I called back and their automated phone attendant indicated that the company name is "NCC - A Division Of Commonwealth Financial Systems". I dialed "0" for the operator and got a live person. They asked for my phone number - gave it to them and then they asked if I knew of a person they named. Told them no and they hung up on me.
They are violating both the TCPA and FDCPA by not only robo-dialing a cell phone and violating your privacy rights--but also harassing you about someone else's debt. The next time they call demand they stop calling or you will be filing a lawsuit against them.
These people are ridiculous! They call 3 to 4 times a day. I will be blocking them from my phone...maybe after a few months of that...it'll stop! How...in America...can this still be going on!
I answered. After hitting one from English (thought I was in the United States) some girl answered "Commonwealth Financial Services". I asked what she wanted and she hung up on me.
