I've been getting this cal every day now. I don't answer it and when I call back I too get no tone on the other end. I wish there was a way to stop it because I do not want to give out any information about myself!
So how am I supposed to know if they are legitimate? They call me repeatedly and never leave a message. That doesn't sound like the way a legitimate business works. How can I be sure that they're not pretexters?
If my hospital wants information from me, they can send me a form to be filled out. I know their address, so I can be sure it's going to the right place.
How can I believe that their web site is truthful? Having a web site doesn't prove anything.
How do I know that you're not working for them and being just a little critical so we won't catch on? That's an old trick.
(PS: I never "Google" anything. I do a web search.)
Just received a phone call from this number again. They wanted to speak to my husband and I told them we were not interested in anything. Tried to call the number back and got no ring tone or answer.
Called and said they were with 'UCLA Quality Data Management'. Weird they would be calling from Ohio. When I asked her what it was about, she said "we're taking your name off the list, bye". She didn't want to answer my questions regarding who the heck she was.
I DID have recent appointments at UCLA Medical Ctr. in Los Angeles.
What a waste of everyone's time and money and annoying too.
I guess UCLA has money to blow on surveys to check up on their doctors. No wonder it's so expensive to use their facilities.
