I too just recieved a voicemail from a Eugene stating my resume just came across his desk & woulf like to ask me a few things. Sounds like this guy has been doing this for awhile after looking how old some of these posts are.
Yup, I just received a call from Eugene as well. You know it's shady when he doesn't identify his company. Someone might actually want a commission based position, but not giving out pertinent information about the company just makes people run in the other direction.
Got the same exact thing glad I googled this number and came across this site - Eugene as well - prompted me to search due to the fact I thought I was losing my mind and couldn't tell what job I had applied to he was referring to, which clearly I didn't apply and he's just searching through online resumes. Due to the nature of the reviews - I would clearly say this is a shady guy desperate for someone to fill a role that he has no clue how to fill...says a lot about the 'commission only' opportunity
I got the Eugene call today too. I had just updated my resume on Monster, so obviously that's where he is getting our information. I think I'll update my resume again and leave out the phone number! At least I was able to Google the number and get to this site so I wasn't wasting my time! Thanks guys!
I just got a voicemail message from Eugene on my cell phone. He had to have accessed my resume on Monster.com to get my cell number since it is not public. He only left his name and phone number and said that my name had "come across his desk" and that I am someone he "might be interested in interviewing". He left NO company name. What kind of professional cold calls for an interview and doesn't even leave the name of their company???!!! Shady to say the least. After reading all the comments above, I'm sure he's desperate to reel someone in for his "commission only" position.
Haaaaaa all these comments are priceless, I wasn't sure if I was the lucky guy who got picked by the no-name agency to have an interview after my name just so happened to come across his desk as well.

That might have been THEE worst voicemail for a company I have ever received. Like everyone else, I will not be calling you back and you are the worst HR person and should probably be fired.
