Caller ID said DirectTV so I answered it since I have their service. The message was "This is Bonnie from Applied Card Services..." I hung up. I hate these people.
You don't know what your talking about. I just received a inbound call from this number-- 458-201-0390....
My caller i.d. shows it to be DIRECT TV , the satellite tv company.
It is not Direct TV !
Likely it is not the company you have accused.
You get online accusing people and companies without proof or knowing what your talking about.
GET ONLINE AND SEARCH ON GOOGLE--->>> TELEPHONE NUMBER SPOOFING
It is where scammers hi-jack any telephone number they want and make it and any name they want show on peoples
caller i.d..
You seem so good at posting information on here that you don't know what your talking about.
******** What happens when one of the scammers SPOOFS or HI-JACKS your telephone number to do their fraud.
Then people get on here and tell everyone it is you ..... When it was not you.
How would you like to be accused of something like this that you did not do.
Like I said above------------- get online and Google----->> Telephone Number Spoofing
The scammers can cause any number they want to show on peoples caller i.d.
They can cause anyone's caller i.d. to show ANYTHING.
If they so choose they can cause --- SANTA CLAUS 222-222-2222 to show on your caller i.d.
or State of Tennessee Governors Office and whatever number. On and on.
Scammers can SPOOF or HI-JACK any number, working or not working numbers.
Real or Fake numbers.
When it's some innocent persons phone number it's a shame when someone like you get on here and claim that
innocent person has something to do with the scam when they don't !
It is not direct tv or any other calble tv telemarketer.
It is the Rachael with an important message about you credit card interest rates scammers trying to obtain your
credit card information.
They used Direct TV 's good name to get past your caller i.d.
You can block the telephone number if it makes you feel any better but it is a waste of time.
You can block only so many numbers. These scammers just roll over to the next number in sequence.
They called in on 458-201-0390 , you block that. They then call in on 458-201-0390, you block that and they
call in on the next number in line. There are millions upon millions of numbers.
Answer this--- Can you block every possible number that exists ? NO, you can not.
The telephone company is selling you caller i.d. that is defective and causes you mental distress.
Other companies who sell defective merchandise or services get sued , class action lawsuits.
Everyone needs to get together and file a class action lawsuit against the telephone companies for selling
defective services. Cheating their customers with a product that does not work. They are raking in millions of dollars
per month for something that is worthless !!
