just got a call .we also screen calls thru ans.machine.scam calls are disgusting especially when you are expecting a call from loved ones.fibromyalgia and degenerative joint disease among others are very trying.people in pain will grasp at relief but we are not brain dead yet
I also have a call Blocker device that blocks 1200 numbers, What I do now especially if I do not know anyone in a particular area code is to block the entire area code . this stops every single number that they may try and use, and depending if there is someone that I may know I give them my cell phone number in case they need to reach me.
My. call Blocker device stops them after one ring and it does not even ring in my house any longer. I don't realize they've called until I see a missed call on my caller ID display. I continue to file complaints each and every time I receive any type of calls from ill legal telemarketers, The do not call Registry needs to know that these people are bypassing legal guidelines and they need to go after them. I would suggest everyone file complaints and bombard them with complaints . eventually something will be done.
Shows up as ALERT on my caller ID. I don't answer calls from people I don't know, and I've turned my answering machine off so they will give up. I've found they give up pretty easily if they can't get through to a person or a machine after a few tries.
