I repeatedly receive phone calls from this number (458) 201-1740 claiming to be from American Pain Relief Institute and they were referred by my physician and approved by my insurance carrier to send me free pain relief cream. Press 1 to accept the offer and verify address for shipment and press#5 for them to notify your physician/insurance carrier that you are refusing the treatment that was offered for you! I pressed #5 and the message keeps repeating itself. What was dangerous about this call for me was the fact that it would NOT disconnect even when I hung up multiple times. When I picked up the phone receiver the robo call message was still going and going and going. I could NOT make a call out during this time period. This isn't good in case I had an emergency due to mine and my hubby's serious medical issues. I tried to call the number back that was on my caller ID. Got robo message to press#1 to be placed on their do not call list and then stated it would take 72 hours to be removed from this list. There was no way to speak to a live human being. Filing report with FCC as well as the CA Attorney Generals Office since this company is calling from outside CA from Eugene, Oregon.
