A young woman called this afternoon and claimed she was calling from Direct T.V and the reason she called is because I must have filled out an on-line survey. I do not recall filling out an on-line survey and leaving my telephone number; nor, did I solicit anyone for Direct T.V. I have Comcast cable service and do not requrie anything else.Addendum: I REPROTED THIS CALLER TO THE FTC. SHE VIOLATED THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. MY HOME TLEHONE NUMBER IS LISTED ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST.
In addition, I do posess DIRECT TV in one of my own t.v. set and may obtain over-the-air broadcasting should my cable service go out. However, the caller did not call to ask whether or not I have this capacity in any one of my new tlevsion setrs. She sounded like she was a telmarketer or the service called DIRECT TV, which is a satellite company that competes with cable service.
Cslls repeatedly and never leaves a message. If this is the same educational call that everyone Is referring to, I've already asked them to remove me from the call list!!! So annoying
This caller calls two or three times in the week Someone should take charge and stop this person.I have never been at my home when they call the answer machine get it.Iam on the no call list but that not too good .
good luck trying to get the automated machine thats dialing your number in trouble with the authorites... maybe the company but im just picturing a computerized telephone in the jail cell right now....bahahaha. In reality there is NOTHING ANYONE can do. Government doesnt care, do not call registry is 100%BS, only option is blocking number through your service changing your number completely or just pray your number gets pushed out of the automated phone bank! these posts are funny though like anyone responsible for these nuesance calls is listening!
LISTEN PEOPLE next time number calls and its an actual person no matter what name they say or ask for say no im sorry but i know that person really well in fact that person you speak of kind sir/mam is the worlds most dangerous and succesful assasin. In fact they have killed more telemarketers than any hitman or assasin in the history of time! havent got a call back in like a week in a half
