Received a call from this number at 11 AM central time. Same organization with slightly different spelling and different numbers. These people never quit and try to harass you all hours of the day and night for scams that just like a bottomless pit of bottom feeders. I no longer answer any calls I do not know and drop these garbage numbers into call blocking. Additionally, unidentified numbers are also blocked regardless of what they are however the numbers from this outfit constantly rotate and make it difficult to stop. Call blocking may not stop them as they will keep changing numbers but it gives me at least a few days for peace of mind. Only wish there was a law in place that could halt these garbage calls coming in all hours of the day and night. Even getting them now on Sundays after lunch.
No messages were ever left. I follow the recommendations of the "experts" and since I get ridiculous amounts of these scam calls I do not answer numbers that I do not recognize and especially if I am not familiar with the area code. Legitimate businesses leave messages. If they really had something of value that I wanted to buy or donate it - they would not be hesitant to leave a message. If not - they want something from you and they have nothing of value for you!
Called me at 8:15 am on a Saturday!!! I was asleep and did not have my glasses on, so I answered, otherwise I ignore these calls. The male voice asked for me by name, and I recognized it from other calls I have received for the Police groups...I got mad and told him that it was barely 8 am on a Saturday and hung up. They call from all sorts of numbers, at all times of day.
For the last few weeks I've been getting calls from at least 6 different numbers from "Soldiers Angels" or "Soldier Support". The legitimate charity is based in TX, but some of these calls are from UT and NE. A couple of times I answered and asked them to take me off their calling list but they hung up. I'm not convinced that this is not a scam.
