Well ladies and Gents I also worked at HP Locate which was most definitely a legitimate business!! First of all the business started only 2 years ago so they are actually still workin out a few kinks. BUT as far as the work that was done, Just because u feel like its harassment Does Not mean it is!! There are rules and protocols that are followed! If they said you couldnt call friends, relatives, neighbors, etc.... then we wouldnt have! As for the agent who called at 2am That 1 agent was wrong and im more than sure fired! That was 1 person who broke the rules not the entire company. This Erik R person was standing up for the company in the first post when he was still working there, but it seems like after u lost ur job is when u got on here and started down talking the company? STILL UPSET HUH? LOL! Get over it! And as was said they have the right to call whom ever is listed in the national database as a possible contact for the person they r looking for. Every1 does not always update their information so if you receive a call thats for some1 u dont know simply tell them that. I dont know that person please dont call me again. Simple as that! But at the same time with my experience when i was there im sure i spoke with over 100 people who said they were not the person we were looking for but in fact were. When this happens guess what we have to invalidate your actual number and try to get in contact with u thru others. And for the fam and friends who want to be nosey and find out what it is before actually helping out make it harder on us and themselves. WE CAN NOT RELEASE ANY1S PRIVATE INFO TO JUST ANY1! THAT IS Y THEY HAVE TO VERIFY THAT THEY ARE SPEAKING WITH THE CORRECT PERSON. HP Locate is simply a Locating company not a debt collector. They locate people, Thats the damn job!! Heritage Pacific is the company that HP Locate comes from and they are the actual collectors. Do ur homework!!
Received several calls from this number. When I called them back they said that they just needed to verify my address to send some certified mail. When I asked what it was the a-hole hung up.
I did hear the name Heritage as well. Probably a debt collector like mentioned above but I don't have any issues that I know of...
my father (who has had 2 strokes) answered the phone and they asked for "john doe" no he isn't home. oh is he the same john doe that lived at "123 main st usa". my dad tells them oh i've heard about people like you and HUNG UP ON THEM! LMAO. My hubby has a very old bankruptcy from previous marriage have no idea what they are calling about.
we have been getting calls from a company called heritage Pacific for a couple of weeks now , we have at least 2 calls a day from them on our answering machine when we get home from work. Then tonight we got a call from the 469-341-0107 # which came up Texas call, they are a company that buys old forclosure's bancrupcy's ect the last yr that they are good to collect on and will use any means to try to track down the ppl and get them to pay. they will use facebook, myspace ect to try to find ppl and when they do they will use any tactics they can to get info about the person they are after cause they know if they don't get them before their time is up they don'nt make no money.
