972-428-5200 - is Certified Payment Processing - They continue to call and hang up several times a day. This number will be reported to the police as well!!! I tried to call them back to tell them to stop calling but i can't get ahold of an operator.

It is illegal for him to call you at work if you have asked him not to. You can file a suit against them for that and they will have to close the account, mark it paid and full and give you an R-1 rating. All the new laws prevent them from calling at work if they have been asked not to.
Been getting calls from three different numbers and RGS is one of them. I never answer and they never leave a message. I changed my phone number late last year because one day out of the blue I started getting calls from collection agencies asking for someone whom I didn't know. No matter how many times I told them I wasn't the person they were looking for they would always lie to me and say they would take my number off their list. They kept calling anyways and then it just got to be more and more. So I had to get rid of my old number after having it for 8 years. Got a new number, unlisted ofcourse, and the calls stopped......until now. Gawd Damn, going through this [***] all over again. I don't owe anyone anything and if I did, it seems like I would get a letter in the mail or something informing me of my debts.
Under my old number, they at least would leave a message asking for people I did not know. One of them was some guy I can't even pronounce and even the caller had a hard time pronouncing, it was kinda funny. Well anyway, I finally answered the phone one time about this guy and went through the normal routine of "it's not me" and they don't believe me. The guy they were looking for apparently bought some credit card equipment to help run his convienience store and didn't pay for it. I told the lady I would go to the store and let the guy know they were looking for him, ANYTHING to get them to stop calling my number! She didn't want me doing that and after talking with her about 20 minutes I thought I had finally convinced her I wasn't the person they were looking for and she apologized and told me (as I've heard many times before) they would stop calling me. Well guess what, a week later and the phone calls started again.
It's weird this time around though they aren't leaving any messages, which makes it in a way less annoying but still annoying never the less. I've noticed others around here on this forum picking up the phone and they don't say anything. Why would this be? Is this some new tactic being done?
