We received numerous calls from "Greg Lynn" who turns out to be Sam Curtis. Right off the bat, this guy was unbelievably rude. He calls from 817.755.6242 as well as 469.368.6405. Cross referencing this number and his name, looks like he lives here for those that are curious: 900 Lynch Bend Road, Springtown, TX 76082. We will not be paying any monies as he is trying to strong arm our company. He asked for a credit card number over the phone. Who does that?!
First off, Burt is not some national collection agency they warrant to be. They have no legal department as they claim and everything they say is a lie. They are a tiny corrupt boiler room operation not unlike the “wolf of wall street” criminal operation in the movie. They use underhanded, threatening, deceptive, and illegal practices to ply their criminal trade. Burt is an extortion racket masquerading as a legitimate debt collection agency.
They call your friends, family, employees, neighbors, and anyone else they can tie to you to harass you into paying a debt. In my case I did not owe any debt and never received any statement of account. A fellow who goes by the name Sam Curtis called me relentlessly. He called my wife, my child, and my employees, yelled, screamed, and threatened them.
Sam Curtis’ real name is Sammy Paulus. His big threat is you are going to get sued. He claims to be a “pre litigation’ specialist and an attorney. It is all b.s. He is a commissioned debt collector working for a illegitimate company that is about to be shut down by the Texas Attorney General’s after a 4 year investigation.
Additionally, Sammy is in fact is a coward and a “telephone tough guy.” When confronted with his true identity and certain facts about his personal life, he cowered in fear. He said, ‘leave me alone, don’t ever call me again” and “what do you want from me, leave me alone.” He was so rattled that he has ditched the “Sam Curtis” moniker for a new one, “Greg Lynn.”
After exposing him as a fraud and a joke of a person, the harassment stopped immediately. Sammy is a sad pathetic individual who has no stature or substance in life so he gets his kicks by sitting at a table all day threatening, lying, and beating up on people so he will feel better about his place in life.
If everyone fought back like I did, Burt would close its doors within days.
Fight back against these jerks. Find out who is really calling you and confront them. In the case of “Sam Curtis A.K.A. Greg Lynn,” call him back on his personal cell phone (214-223-6853) and harass him if he calls you. When he changes his number, go see him at 2600 Preston Road Apt 410 Plano, TX.
We have a membership cancellation letter Teleflora wire service stating the TOTAL amount due is$1201.42. This amount plus 15 percent has been paid to Burt & Associates, a collection agency.Now B & A claim we still owe another $931.31. How can this be? Where did this come from? It can't be legal.
I dont know any Elliot J Vail, but be real Sammy...you know the above narrative is 100% accurate. You are a fraudster and coward. You have to hide behind pseudonyms and pretend to be something you are not to your victims. I cant imagine how bad your job sucks!
