I got a call from this number as well today claiming to work for an automotive group out of des moines iowa. Wanted my vin#. I said I did not have it and they asked me to call back with it today so they could make me an offer. Glad I googled the number.
469-606-5167 left a huckster type message on my machine. They are harvesting numbers from Craigslist if you list your car for sale. They will give you a low ball offer on your car if you fall for it. It's all automated so it must be crooked?
Got the call today on call waiting. Didn't answer. Said it was a Texas Caller. Scammers I assume calling to buy a car from me. Saw it on Craigslist obviously. Tired of these scammers.
This phone number is for caroffer.com. They solicit you because you have something for sale on Craigslist. I have a vehicle for sale that is listed on craigslist.com however I will be reporting them because I have stated very clear that I do not want outside advertising. Waste of my time. caroffer.com, you suck!
I got a call from them today. It was actually a white male who spoke English as his first language. He seemed legit. He asked for information about the truck but I have no idea what he could possibly do with it. He found the truck through Craigslist within 48 hours of posting. They sent me a text with a link that I did not open an hour later. I then got another automated phone call from them this afternoon. Glad I have credit monitoring just in case.
