I got a call from this number as well today claiming to work for an automotive group out of des moines iowa. Wanted my vin#. I said I did not have it and they asked me to call back with it today so they could make me an offer. Glad I googled the number.
i received a call...only left a 3 second message with my first name. I valled it back, and it was an automated message for health insurance. It stated they were Highland medical group...or something like that. They gave me the option to press 1 if interested in medical insurance, or press 2 if not interested...i pressed 2, then the automated prompt said "Thank you. You've been removed."
Got a call from this number again,, I didn't answer , I call them back asking for a fictious name,, Jerry and woman said he don't work here. I said uuumm must have dial wrong number,,, I asked if this company was from around Dallas tx,,, since # starts with 469 ,, a Dallas area code. well she said no we are not from Texas... I said sure Jerry don't work here.??? she said, no ,, I said is this Tax associates ! a fake name I gave,, she said no this is a collection agency .. Oh okay sorry I said,, I hung up.
I just got another call from this people and guess what,,, this time say if I want to sell my time share resort... earlier same number call they were collecting agency ,, about money I owed ... now what does this tell me.... scammers trying to rip people off ,,, collecting money ... scammers from some forgien country. probably.
