I'm with Rosalyn, same vet support foundation, just a new number. They've been calling twice a day from 210-714-3599 for the last week. Now both numbers are blocked.
I've been receiving calls from Veterans Support Fund everyday for the last 2 weeks...sometimes twice a day. I cannot find anything on them on BBB or Charity Watch websites. They are not rated on Charity Navigator and are listed in Daytona Beach, FL. The calls I have received are from area codes 469 & 210...both in Texas. There is a website for a Veterans Support Fund, but there is no address or phone number listed.
Do not give to organization that cold calls you like that - they are a rip off - let alone only giving very little $$ to the cause they are collecting for. Find a local charity to give to if you have too much money. By giving local you can see your donation in action.
Got a call this morning from this number. Caller ID said VET SUPPORT FND. Definitely a scam. I'm a veteran, and for people like this using my fellow military veterans as a "cause"t for their stupid scam, really pisses me off. I don't give to ANYONE who solicits by phone. Anyway, added this number to my block list.
They call several times a day. Says my husbands name and then just starts a sales pitch. I have told them my husband has passed away not to call back. The calls keep coming but now I don't answer
