This exact thing happened to my mother today about unpaid taxes on a Sears card! He said the same threats verbatim but just used a different "loan" type.
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
My 78 yr old dad gets the same calls they say the exact same thing that they said to you.except they add that he didn't pay for a truck in 2004 and they are putting a Leon on his 5 different properties the funny thing is my dad owns no property and the guy that rudely calls says his name is Mr.Lee.
The caller (Mr. Lee) was calling me in reference to me having complaints filed against me. Supposedly, I falsely filed some fake documents. (of which I have no idea to what he is alleging. This has to be a scammer trying to scam.
