Received a text asking if my name is Nancy and said they got my number from Craigslist. Never even been on Craiglist. Then they asked how old I was. Very weird and unnerving. Blocked number on mobile phone.
this person keeps calling and I do not answer any phone calls, nor buy anything over the phone.....five times in one day, and they are now blocked!!!!! It is miserable that you need to keep getting unwanted calls. Let them get a real job!!!!
I received a couple of those calls too. Both times asked if they were the publishers and they repleid that they were not and were a subscription renewal service. I'm sure they would request a CC number to extend the subscription--I think not (I don't give those numbers out freely)..
Got a call from this number and the woman identified herself as Stephanie, and asked if I was still getting Guidepost magazines, on time and in good condition. After I said yes, she said she could offer me 70 percent off the cover price and wanted to know if I wanted to go ahead and extend my subscription. I told her to remove my name from her call list, that I had gotten other similiar communications by mail, and that my subscription is not scheduled to run out for more than a year.
She sighed audibly when I asked to be removed from her call list.
