Male with heavy accent called me this morning saying he was from Microsoft and needed to help me with my computer because I have a virus so I told him I'm not interested and hung up. Couple of hours later he calls back and tells me its urgent that I get to my computer so he can assist me, I asked how he got my information and he wouldn't answer however he does have my number, first and last name so I asked him for the company's number that I will call them back to help me because I can't confirm who he was and I would not be giving him any information until I get the number to call the company myself and he kept saying its urgent and he needs to help me so I told him if its that urgent why is he wasting time and not giving me the number I needed to call and get the help supposedly I needed and he disconnected on and hasn't called since.... be aware people and don't give out your information...
Called at 7:00 am claiming to be a tech from Microsoft and they received a message from my computer with a problem that he was wanting to help with. He asked if I could get to my computer right now so he could solve the problem for me. I asked that he send me an e-mail regarding the issue but he was insistent that I connect to my computer instead.
This number called me at 7:30 this morning. I missed the call as I was trying to help my 4 year old out of the bath. No message was left and when I tried calling it back I got the message that this is not a working number. Then I check here and see the message about Microsoft scam and I'm even more irritated. Some people just need to get a life and quit trying to scam ours away from us!
Guy called claiming that I had been approved for a loan in the amount of 2500 to 10,000? He then ask what amount I wanted to borrow? I applied for a loan for dental work but not with this company. He claims his company is US payday loan, but I have not applied for a loan with this company. He wanted banking information to make the supposed deposit. When I ask him to email me the loan documents so that I can review them he started yelling that I just need to verify my information so he can take care of my loan. I told him didnt apply for no loan with him and again ask for contract to review, he hung up. When I called the number back, It is a disconnected number. Obviously SCAM ARTISTS!!
