This scammer calls mobile phone numbers without pre-existing permission from the recipient in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and still further by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line. They fail to provide a phone number and address when asked, yet further violating the TCPA. Their recording states that the victim has been selected to have their student loans reduced by 50% and the remainder reduced to a 0% interest rate. This is clearly a scam as the phone number they called has never been associated with a student loan, and the victim has no student loans. Do not provide this scammer with any financial information.
This number called me back to back after I rejected the first call. I don't answer calls from phone numbers I don't recognize and I figured if it's important they'll leave a message. No message was left. Seems like its just another spam call whose number I need to add to my block list.
Spam caller trying to sell something. I called the number back and a recording came on asking if you want to be removed from their call list or to speak to a rep.
I own a travel agency and they called me which makes no sense. Not sure where they got my number, especially considering we are technically competitors.
