Call from Macon Georgia I have no known family or friends there. Called on October 22 2015 in the late afternoon did not leave a message have no idea who or what they want
They called my home phone at 5:11 PM PDT on 23 October 2015. The caller ID said, "CONTACT CENTER". I did not answer. They did not leave a message. We are on the Do Not Call list. I will report them to DoNotCall.gov.
Same here, call from 'Contact Center,' no message. I think we're going to be flooded soon with stuff like this as the 2016 elections get nearer.
I do wish the FCC would *finally* do its job, give us some relief and ban robo calls. Add to that calls that are begging for money, proselytizing, non-profits solicitations and political calls. These exemptions and circumventions make the 'Do Not Call' list virtually worthless.
P.S. for Myrna: When you answer a call and no one responds right away, the caller is using auto-dial and will not pick up on his end until he hears a voice on the speaker. No quick reply to you is a sure sign it's a solicitation.
