Your hopes that the "FCC would *finally* do its job" is sadly misguided. They can create all the bans, laws and rules they want to and it will stop nothing. Example: Robbing a bank is illegal/banned. It still happens all the time. Here's a pro tip. BLOCK/IGNORE THE CALL and move on.
Called today, and indicated from Macon, Georgia. Since my daughter was in Georgia at the time, picked up the phone. A person finally connected, and it was a Pro-Life group.
Got 2 calls from these bstrds, one at a little after 1 Sat afternoon, & then one a night or 2 ago at 8 15 PM. I HOPE they do pick up, I WILL NOT be nice, Christian, or polite to them.. I went to a boarding school, & can give them a REAL earful.. And DON'T lecture me about feeling sorry for these poor yahoos who do this.. 99% of the time, they are trying to wheedle you out of money, somehow or another. They are NO BETTER than the crooks who hire them..
Received calls on three different evenings from "Contact Center" did not answer, but called back. A automated message stated that "if you believe the call was received in error press 5 to be added to no call list". I pressed 5 to be added to the no call list and the call ended.
