If unsuccessful, a notice will be mailed to you that contains next steps for processing your application. There is no phone number you can call to contact Serco."
I got a call from this #.....funny story! They do not have my cell #.....They have my landline. They called me on my cell. The article also says that they will leave a message each time they are unsuccessful...they were unsuccessful and did not leave a message. I think they would have left a message if legit....that's just my thoughts tho....
They just called me, asked for me but messed up my first name. He said the were informed that I was going to be denied coverage and wanted me to sign up. I said I don't believe people who call me trying to sell me something. If I am going to be denied coverage, I will wait for the denial letter first. I get calls for health insurance, life insurance, car warranties, charity groups, computer virus's and second and final notice for rates on my credit cards in which I don't have any. So, if it is legit like many people state, don't you think the govt. would actually send an official letter before they call?
I do not give out my cell number to anyone except close friends, yet somehow these people still got ahold of it. I have a no-contract phone and get charged for each call. This is the first call I have gotten from anyone who should not have my number. I find it extremely unsettling. Maybe AT&T is selling their customers' information, or handing it out for free, to the government or other entities?
They don't need to. These callers we get just plumb in sets of numbers and go for it. Dialers and computers don't recognize the fact your phone is a no contact phone or on the DNC, let alone be unlisted even.
You can see about a call blocking app, just google them with your phone brand/model and see if you can find one for it. Otherwise, you will have to file a complaint with AT&T and see if they can block it for you.
