Same as a lot of people on here. A merchant account with a company I'm not with has an "issue" and I'm to call back a different number. I can't see a legit company doing this. Couldn't tell if he said FTA or FPA, but found no companies with either names that did what he was claiming to do.

finally called these guys back after they left me couple messages and a couple of calls with no messages. They basically asked me questions about my store and merchant services usage and wanted to meet with me. I googled them and didn't find much so I called back to call off the meeting and ended up finding out through their site that they work with First Dat company who sounded familiar. Turns out this is the biggest credit card company in the world apparently. As busy as we've been with less employees I was curious enough to meet.
Bottom line is they do this whole thing where they make sure you are a safe business and help you out with pricing and machines if you are. The guy Adam that I met with really seemed to know alot and didn't push me at all so I ended up switching a month or so ago and things seem fine so far. They've done everything they've promised and it sure does feel a bunch cheaper so i"ll keep you all posted. The one thing I don't like is they give you 2 or 3 customer service numbers just oin case but it's tough to know which one to call when.

Claims to be calling from my credit card proccessing company.

And lastly,
Any one who calls and is trying to rush you on the phone, not disclose their identity, and is calling from a private number, is not someone I want to do buisness. Legit or not!!
Those reporting positive "experiences" of FTA or FPA or whomever is calling from 480-214-8749 are employees or owners of the scammers calling from 480-214-8749.
Steer clear. It's as scam or a fraud.
No legitimate company calls from a number that shows "Private" on caller ID.
